The county board has found 26 wolf territories so far in the county during the winter season inventory.
This is according to predator control officer Maria Falkevik in a recent progress report. In thirteen of the territories there are litters from last year, including Glaskogen, Forshaga and Brattfors. Two of them, the board noted as late as today (Wednesday) and Maria Falkevik anticipate that the numbers will continue to rise until the inventory is to be completed by the end of March.
